I have 'stealthed' my router. Do I still need firewalls on my computers?
The stealth method will stop unsolicited packets getting into your lan from the internet through the router.
What this method doesn't do, which software firewalls do, is control what programs on your computer you want to allow to access the internet. If a program on your computer connects to the internet, then replies to data it send out will be let back in.
If you want control over what programs can access the internet, then you should run a software firewall.
