The easiest way to upgrade the firmware is through the routers web config screens.
First, make sure you have the latest firmware downloaded and unzipped into a folder on your hard drive. The firmware can be
downloaded from http://www.solwise.co.uk/downloads
When you have the firmware, log onto the routers web config screens, and go to the Admin tab. Then choose the Local Image Upgrade option. You will then get a
screen like the one below.

Click on the browse button, and you will get a standard windows browse for file window. Browse to where you saved the firmware file (TEImage.bin) and select it and click Open

The path to the file should now show in the Upgrade page ad below. All you need to do now is click the Upload button.

While the firmware is being uploaded you will see the following message appear on the page.
![]()
And when it is complete you will get the following message.

When it has rebooted you will be able to access the router in the normal way again. Remember though that ALL your settings will have gone
including username and password. To log in to the router the default Username and Password are both DSL and have to be in capitals. This should be one of the first things
that you change.
Occasionally things may go a bit wrong. If you can't access your router after it has rebooted, then reboot it again. Also reboot your computer, and turn off and back on any hubs/switches.
If you still can't access the router, then it is possible that the firmware upgrade has failed. In that case take a look at this guide - Recovering From A Failed Upgrade
